Tatlisu blood donor day

The first Tatlisu blood donor day was held on – 17th November 2014 – at the new ambulance station in Tatlisu. After some advertising of the event in various forms of the media it was good to see so many people turn out ready to do their bit!  Four members of the CESV were there to assist the team if required. CESV went for the ‘triple. – an honour to honour those who gave their lives for others to live


It was an honour for members of the Civil Emergency Service Volunteers (CESV) to be asked to attend all three remembrance services as part of their duties. CESV turn to dramatics for a night of training!

After an accident free but enjoyable RBL poppy walk on Saturday CESV members were put through their paces last night in a training event at St Andrews church hall, Girne. CESV enjoy their sports , ready for emergencies they hope never come!

Saturday 25th October saw the first rugby fixture of the season taking place at Eastern Mediterranean University, Gazimagusa. It wasn’t so much a game of two halves but three games of two halves!  The Pumas played Near East University Tigers (NEUT) in a series of fast paced, exciting games.  The event started with a one minute silence in memory of Ilkay Demirtaş then it was action stations!
